About Troop 44

Troop 44 offers a year-round adventure-based program designed to offer and encourage effective character, leadership, citizenship, and fitness training for boys ages 11-17.

In addition to camping, Scouts and adult leaders enjoy activities such as rock-climbing and rappelling, canoeing, target-shooting, fishing, hiking, biking, and more while accommodating the needs of today’s busy families.

Where We Meet

Bushkill Volunteer Fire Department

We meet from 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm on Tuesday nights unless noted on the calendar.
Note, it Nazareth Schools are cancelled, so is the Troop meeting.

Monthly Outings

Each month the troop goes on an outing. Typically for these we leave on Friday evening and return on Sunday around noon.

In addition to camping, Scouts and adult leaders enjoy activities such as rock-climbing, canoeing, target-shooting, hiking, biking, swimming, fishing, and more while accommodating the needs of today’s busy families.

Summer Camp

Troop 44 attends a week-long summer camp each year at various camps both in and out of Minsi Trails Council.

High Adventure

In addition to the adventures each month, Troop 44 plans a High Adventure trip each summer or fall. The troop attends one of the Boy Scouts of America High Adventure Bases such as the Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico.
